Brief sound effect of a zippo lighter being opened, struck and closed with ample time in between each action for all of them to be used separately from one another. Have fun with it!.

Cooking fire from the kitchen, flame and gas sound.

Fire whoosh. Deep fat rapid fire increase. (diesel thrown on fire + pitch n eq).

Same as "fire whoosh 2," but with multi-band compression instead of a limiter and with the sound more centered.

Multiple tries of matches.

A crackling fire burning in the fireplace. Wood and paper are burnt -- there is some audio of paper being crumpled near the beginning. The recording is low, but made from about one foot away with very little room noise.

Stove fire burners ignited one by one (having their drip bowls on). Recorded with a zoom h2 positioned in the middle of stove burners. Wok cooker frying flame roar - recorded zoom h4 in a village off the bridespool road tai po hong kong. And yes the fried rice was delicious :).

Created with brown noise and a series of saturation and eq plugs.

It's a strange sound a candle was making while lit. I've pushed three burnt-off matches as a replacement for the wick, and they created such a shape of flame, that was "pumping" creating a strange buzzing sound. Recorded with a zoom h2.

I recorded me smoking in my room (it still smells bad). Very closely mic'ed, got alot of tabacco burning sounds quite cleanly. Recorded with sennheiser mkh8040 into focusrite saffire pro14. Enjoy!.

Recorded from different distances on my zoom h2n and noise reduced using audacity. Gaps between chirps also reduced to about 10 seconds.
